Lapsang Souchong, also known as Lapushan Souchong, belongs to the black tea category and is collectively called Souchong Black Tea with artificial races. It was first created in the Tongmu area of ​​Chong'an County, Fujian Province (in 1989 Chong'an was removed from the county and renamed as Wuyishan City). It is the earliest black tea in the world, also known as the originator of black tea. It has a history of more than 400 years. It was created by local tea farmers in the depths of Wuyi Mountain in Fujian in the mid to late Ming Dynasty. Later, Gongfu black tea was developed on the basis of Lapsang Souchong. Lapsang Souchong black tea is relatively easy to store, usually sealed at room temperature and kept away from light. Because it is a fully fermented tea, it is generally stored for one or two years and the pine smoke flavor is further transformed into a dry fruit flavor, and the taste becomes more mellow and sweet. The more aging the tea, the better, and the taste of Lapsang Souchong that has been more than three years old has begun to become mellow and long.
正山小种，又称拉普山小种，属红茶类，与人工小种合称为小种红茶。首创于福建省崇安县（1989崇安撤县设市，更名为武夷山市）桐木地区。是世界上最早的红茶，亦称红茶鼻祖，至今已经有400多年的历史，由福建武夷山深处当地茶农于明朝中后期机缘之下创制而成。后来在正山小种的基础上发展了工夫红茶。正山小种红茶保管方法比较简易，通常采用常温下密封、避光保存即可。因其是全发酵茶，一般存放一两年后松烟味进一步转换为干果香，滋味变得更加醇厚而甘甜。茶叶越陈越好，三年以上的正山小种味道开始变得醇厚韵长。
